Interesting Meeting
Plans Many Projects
The Rappahannock Garden Club met Wednesday, February 27 at "Delamore”, with Mrs. E. M. Jones.
Mrs. William R. Williamson. President, presided, with 14 members present. The club decided to participate in the Jamestown Celebration, and planned a dried material and dried arrangement exhibit at the home of Mrs. W. R. Williamson to be held in October on the IS. 19 and 20. The president named Mrs. Charles Estes as chairman of the committee to work in close connection with Mrs. George H. Davis, County Chairman, for the Celebration.
C. E. Johnson, Mrs. Dennis Regan and Mrs. Charles Estes were • appointed to make arrangements for the club’s Annual Plant Sale, which will be held on April 5th.
The Cub Scouts garden project was discussed with; interest and the club voted to buy a certain amount of seed for members of the Den. The club wall be( advised in this matter by Mrs. R. V. Snead, “Den Mother”.
The club was invited to Winchester on March 22 to two lectures. by Mrs. Dorothy Biddle. Lunchon will be served.
