Mrs. Ralph Rowzie presented the Fire Chief Lloyd Bywaters with a check of $500 from the Ladies Auxiliary.
We were glad to have the visitors and firemen from Culpeper. Warrenton, Plains, Brandy, Remington, Orange and Madison and Castleton also gl^d to have Judge and Mrs. £nead . from Washington.
The guest speaker was J. S. Mill of Culpeper.
Next the group was favored with music selection and song by Mrs. Floyd Hitt.
Rev. John Divers pastor of the Flint Hill and Washington Baptist Churches, gave the closing prayer.
The people of Amissville were most generous in making donations for the Firemen's Banquet.
The kitchen committee wish to thank everyone who gave their time, money and food.
The committee also wishes to thank all who cooperated so splendidly n nreparng and servng the dinner also Mr. and Mrs. Irving Sisk of Manassas for donating the candle holders.

To date six persons have signed up for the proposed Williamsburg tour, sponsored by the H. D. Clubs of Rappahannock. Two have indicattd a preference for Philadelphia and one has said she would be on the bus when it left regard less of its destination. All the tripare interesting.
When enough interest has been shown in the trips the Travel Co. will send a representative to discuss details and minor changes.
