AT A MEETING OF THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF
RAPPAHANNOCK CO., HELD AT THE COURT HOUSE, WASHINGTON, VIRGINIA ON FEBRUARY 6, 1957.
PRESENT: W. C. Campbell, A. C. Latham, Herbert Foster, E. M. Estes, H. B. Wood and A. H. Buckner.
Upon the motion of A. H. Buckner and seconded by H. B. Wood, the following resolution was unanimously passed:
1. Be it resolved that by and under the authority grafted under Section 46-64 of the Cbde of Virginia of 1950, as amended, the County of Rappahannock, in the State of Virginia, hereby charges a license fee on all motor vehicles, except vehicles used by a dealer or manufacturer for sales purposes and vehicles used as common carriers of persons or property operated between cities or towns in this state and not intercity transportation,or between cities and townson the one hand and points and places without cities and town on the other and not intercity transportation. This said license is imposed upon every motor vehicle, including but not limited to, automobiles, trucks and motorcycle, regularly housed or stored in the County and used or intended to be regularly operated upon the highways in the County.
