Annual 4-H Dinner
Tickets Now On Sale
Tickets for the Annual 4-H supper went on sale Monday. The dinner will feature ham this year and will he held in the High school. Cafeteria at Washington, Saturday March 16th from S:3<* until'7:30 P.M.
This dinner is given each year to celebrate National 4-H week and to raise money to send delegates from the county council to a short course and camp. Marv Francis Pullen and Marvin Bradford III are ticket chairmen for the night club.
Eddie and Lorrrtai Sutphin were host for the March meeting of the Night Club mondav evening. Plans for the dinner, for the play practices and ca’•ear icontestf March 9) were discussed. Several members bought year pins. Raplev Owings announced that Glen or Russell Updike would be in charge of sheep at the tri-county fair in September. Both bovs are expert sheep men. Girls woj-ked on their record books for the area contest and hovs went to the Sutphin barn to see Mr. Owings give a demonstration on fitting and showing a '-rdf.
Madison 4-H clubs sent an in\itation to Rappahannock senior t ilths for a dance at their legion hall. March 22.
