The Castleton Fire Company was called to the Eggsbomville vacinity on Friday April 12th to house occupied by Charlie Nichols and family was completely - destroyed and nothing was saved. , O r i gi n of the fire is not known. The Culpeper Vol. Fire Co. was called in.
Amissville Fire Company answered three calls over the week, end. Sunday morning at the home of Mrs. Boggs where a heater had iginited some papers. No serious damage was done.
Sunday night a truck was otr fire on route 229 and a brush fire Monday night on the Old War- v renton Road. h
Flint Hill, Sperryville and - ■ Washington had safe weeks as -far as fire was concerned, but the Washington Rescue Squad was called to Guv’s restrauant Saturday to take Mahlon Ramey who was taken ill, to the hospital.
