Guests on Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. D. M. Dwyer were Mr. and Mrs. Sam Dwyer, Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Shade and family of Charlottesville. On Monday. Mr. Dwyer and son-in-law, J. S. Dwyer spent the day with his brother, Herbert Dwyer _at Brandy.
Recent guests of Mrs. O. B. Swindler and her daughter, Miss Barbara Swindler were Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Groves and daughter, Robert Moyer of Baltimore, Mrs. Sadie Rowe of Chey Chase, Mrs. Alice Moyer, who has been the guest in the Swindler home, has returned to her home in Baltimore.
Mrs. Ada Huff of Washington was a guest on Monday of Mrs. A. Lee Swindler. Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Devers and family were dinner guests on Sunday of Mr. Devers’ mother. Mrs. Ida Devers in Flint Hill. Mrs. Nannie Schaefer is visiting her niece and nephew, Mr. and Mrs. Claud Beard in Remington. Mrs. Mary Clater. who has been staying with Mrs. Schaefer, is visiting her son and family, Mr. and Mrs. Roland Clater near Warrenton.
Miss Nettie Bontz of Gaithersburg, Md. is visiting the Misses Hitt. Miss Ebba Hitt spent the weekend in Jamestown and Wlliamsburg.
Miss Edna Yates Schaefer spent the week end in Madison with her aunt, Mrs. Gordon Payne and attended the Junior-Senior Prom on Friday night at the Madison High School where Joe Gordon Payne is a member of the graduating class.
