fork-type feeder keep a heavy volume of material moving uniformly into the baling chamber. The knife-equipped plungerhead and stationary knife in the baling chamber slice and pack each charge. Grooves in the bale case make neat grooves at the top and bottom of the bale where twine snuggles in protected against snagging. Efficient knotters tie accurately with fewer misses.
