Bessie Freeman, daughter of Mrs. Alice Porter of Washington, Va. graduated from North Plain field High School, North Plainfield, New Jersey where she majored in Commrcial Business. She made the National Honor Society and was rated ftnth in her class of 164 graduating students. She was awarded a $25 bond and a check for outstanding achievement inr Home Economics. (Her mother, Mrs. Alice Porter, Miss Helen Summons? Benny Roy and Arthur Bridgett of Washington, Va. attended the commencement exercises. Also her father, Lawrence Freeman of Philadelphia. Pa. and friends anti relatives of the Plainfields. -Bessie expects to enter Drake College in the fall. She spent two weeks with her mother and returned to N. J recently.
