A great many people read with •deep interest the letter in your paper last week from Mrs. Leslie Fox Keyser, carrying the news of her retirement after a service of thirty-eight years as Elementary Supervisor in the schools of Warren and Rappahannock counties, ^liss Leslie’s letter expressed her thanks for the help and cooperation she had received from pupils, teachers', parents and school officials.
' As one of hundreds of teachers who h a ves bene fitted over the years from Miss Leslie’s wise counsel, it is proper that some response, however inadequate, be made to her letter.
Beginning teachers, young and just out of college, and older ones, faced with problems as numerous and varied as the pupils in their charge, have called on Miss Leslie for help and advice and have received it graciously and sympathetically.
