And Flower Sale ;
The Women of Bromfield Parish are planning for the annual dried flower arrangement sale and house tour which will be held this year on October 17th and 18th from IKK) to 5:00 p.m. Three homes in the county will be opened for the tour and will feature arrangements of dried material. These arrangements will be on sale and in addition to those decorating the homes, there will be a sales room where other arrangements will also be sold. The tour homes are “The Shade,’ the home of Mr. and Mrs. C. Raymond Wire of Chevy Chase. and Washington, Va., 4% miles south of Washington, Va. on Route 211 between Washington and Sperryville; “Horseshoe Farm", the home of Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Janney of Fredericksburg, Va., 3 miles north of Flint Hill, Va. on the “Fodder stack Road” or Route 628; the home of Miss Annie Miller Almond known as the “Oden Home" located in the town of Washington, Va. Tea will be served at “The Shade” on both days of tthe tour. Orders are now being taken for arrangemerits made to your own, specifications featuring your own color choice, shape, etc. If you are interested in placing an order in advance of the tour, you may contact Mrs. Lois D.
