j County Agent tlOOOOOOtXXKXXWCIOOOtXKiOCg i While Rappahannock is not a commercial swine producing county, most farm families keep two or more pen hogs around for home consumption, while other fanners produce feeder pigs and a couple farmers fatten '150-250 market hogs per year.

Thus interest in hogs is widespread even though total income from swine is not of major economic importance when considering total agricultural income.

Some of the most commonly used worming agents for swine are sodium flouride, piperazine and hygromycin.
