Guess maybe the rain we just had was a little of Gracie visiting us, bur let’s hope to goodness we do not get any wind. That is one thing tliat scares me to death.
The Raymond Fowlers are back irom New York in a little German car. Mrs. Fowler says it’s fine for short trips, but not much when you are travelling several hundred miles or more.
Saturday it was fun going to an auction sale. 1 hadn’t been for so long, hut good night shirt, the priccs- .honestly you could buy much cheaper even iri an antique new people, but th? lunch was not served by a church. It was done by a private party,.
Carolyn Gates Turner was at home for the weekend. We knew when she arrived. You could hear the car horn all over the place.
By all means be sure to go to the auction sale Saturday, sponsored by the Ladies Auxiliary to the Fire Company of Washington. The ladies have truly worked hard on the rummage sales and they will on this auction.
