Mrs. Lester Burke accompanied by Mrs. $L H. Ajdor and Buddy Aylor visited Edward Cary at McGuire Hospital in Richmond recently. Mr. Cary who underwent surgery is ir\ a satisfactory condition.

Thursday Mrs. Jessie Fincham, Mrs. Virginia Estes and Mrs. Lester Burke were in Winchester for the day.

Miss Ruby Jenkins entered the University of Virginia Hospital Friday for minor surgery. She was. accompanied to the hospital by her mother Mrs. W. B. Jenkins. Miss Jenkins returned Sunday to her home-on Main Street.

Mr. and Mrs. George Haymaker of Front Royal were dinner guests Sunday of Miss Lottie Burton.

Mrs. Elizabeth H. DeBergh had as her guests for dinner at her home Harris Hollow Farm Sunday, her brother-in-law and sister Mr. and Mrs. B. R. Cox.
