Dr. ^ R. Boldridge of Rixeyville. Va. was feted at a party Friday evening at the fire hall in Amissvillr honoring his fiftieth vear as a oracticing physician, members of the area organizations I olanned and sponsored the cclebra- 1 tion which was attended bv some 200 guests as well as his family.
John WUli-m' act-d at -aster of ceremonies and a i*hort t’^k was made by B. O. Willis of Orange who was a classmate of Dr. Boldridge. Ralph Rowziej on behalf of the Amissvilte Fire Department, nresented the docf"" with a gift.' as did Mrs. Menpfo* Utr. of the Forest Orove P.T.A. and Mes. Allen Coooer of the Jeffersonton P.T.A. Mrs. Charlie Priest presented him with a gold watch from the Amissville Ladies Auxiliary, and a “money tree’’ containing 5P silver dollars wranped in gold foil and an additional sum of money which had been given by residents of the area were presented him.
