Emphasizing the importance of understanding “youthful thinking" she said, in part, “The future-, of our Nation depends, not on science only, but upon what our YOUTH THINK.
Mrs. Smith listed four challeng- . es to Americans: 1. Understand the true meaning of FREEDOM. 2. Teach the true meaning of Freedom to youth. 3. 'Inform the American people. 4. Follow the principles of tthe Christian Religion.
Pointing to emphasis in training our youth to understand science and mathematics, Mrs. Smith said, “This is important, but far more important is to teach them to think clearly, decide wisely and to know what freedom really means. Continued on page six
