Duncan Dies At
Home In Amissville
I William Edward Duncan, 89, died at his home in Amissville Wednesday morning, December 2 after an illness of about five weeks.
Mr. Duncan was bom in Culpeper County, the son of the late William £. and Mary Elizabeth Luttrell Duncan. He was a prominent farmer and was a Deacon in the Amissville Baptist Church for many years.
He is survived by his wife Mayme Latham Duncan; one daughter Mary Duncan of Newport, N. C.; three sons, Woodrow Duncan of Lakeland, Fla., Norvel Duncan of Elizabeth City, N. C. and William Duncan of Arlington; four grandchildren and nine nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 4 at 11 a.na. at the Amissville Baptist Church with interment in the church cemetery.
