Mrs, Nannie Starks Mrs. Nannie Starts a highly respected colored citizen of Washington, Va., died at her home on Tuesday, January 5. She was born at Viewtown, Va. but had spent mosfsof her life in Washington. Nannie was always around when someone was in need of help and as said by one of her friends, “Nannie was always there when you .were in a pinch.” She will be gready missed by both white and colored people of this area.
