DEAR FOLKS

What a wonderful holiday we have all had, however, 1;: did miss writing you last week. 1 started the Christmas holidays off vyith a "ripping” good time. We were .all working so hard Tuesday before Christmas to put the paper to bed early and as usual I was talking up a storm. 1 went over to the window to see if Arthur had turned our lights on and coming back bv the folder, I felt something yank a litttle bit at my dress. Not paying any attention, 1 kept right on talking. Nancy and Sarah were about to die laughing, and justified they were. The machine had pulled the bottom of my dress right off, but '$ as Johnny on the spot. Hob Estes saved the day with safety pins. If 1 am not mistaken, it happened to Gladys Howie, Lucy Catherine Howie and I know it happened to Sarah. So now, as Sarah said, I am a full-flegded newspaper woman.
