of entering the system as did J. \V. Fletcher. Both were of the opinion * it would be beneficial to the county as well as employees. L. H. Luttrell made the motion to adopt the plan as effective January 1, 1960 for full time service, which was seconded by Herbert Foster. After calling in the Treasurer for his opinion, the motion was passed with a 5 for and 1 against recorded vote. A. H. Buckner cast the only dissenting vote. ‘As administrator for the system in the county, James M. Settle, Clerk, who was not present at the meeting was nominated and elected » ■to..serve without pay, according to Supervisor Wood, for his service.
An architect was present to discuss a burglar-proof fire-proof record room to be added to the Clerk’s office. No action was taken but estimates are to be made.
