Rappahannock Panthers just (fid squeeze a victory out of the game with the Herndon Hornets Friday, January 15 on the Herndon court with a one point difference in the score, which was 42-43.
The boys played a good game, and defeat seemed certain when with only a few seconds to play, Herndon was one up on the Panthers, who gained control of the ball and Buddy Moore sunk a basket to win the ball game.
High scorer was Bobby Hawkins with 16 points to his credit.
Slepetz was high for Herndon with 10.
