John W. Hawkins
John William Hawkins, 81, of Washington, Va., died Tuesday, January 19 in the Susan Miller Nursing Home at Woodstock, Va., where he had been a patient for some time.
He was the son of Milton M. and, Mary Woodward Hawkins of Rappahannock County.
Survivors are one sister, Mrs. John A. Burke, Woodville; and two brothers, Thomas A. Hawkins and Milton M. Hawkins of Front Royal, Va.
Funeral services were held at Five Forks Baptist Church Saturday, January 23 at 2 o’clock, with his pastor, Rev. McMorgan officiating'; Interment was in the Hawkine cemetery.
Pallbearers were Edgar Hawkins, Earl Hawkins, Clifton Hawkins, Milton (Hawkins, Lester Burke and Rosco Burke. .
