Jack, the son of Mr. ana Mrs. Milton Sisk of Sperryville, is out of school this quarter shearing sheep to make money so he can conrrtinue his education. The scholarship award comes as a complete surprise since at the time of the National Contest only two scholarships had been announced to be awarded to the first and second place winners.
Jack has started shearing in Rappahannock and Madison counties. Also he and a couple ex-4-H shearers from Page have done some shearing in South-side Virginia This team of three plan an extensive shearing circuit so local sheep owners probably should book Jack well ahead. Telephone Sperryville
