Shenandoah District
P.T.A. Convention
The annual meeting of the Shenandoah District of the Virginia Congress of Parents and Teachers will convene at 10 a.m. April 22 at Warren County High School* in Front Royal. This will include delegates of the local PTA units from Harrisonburg, Clarke, Frederick, Page, Rappahannock, Rocknigham, Shenandoah and Warren Counties.
“The PTA’s Responsibility in Educating the Youth of the Shen-' andoah District” has been chosen as the theme of the meeting, which v will help PTA leaders to learn ways in which they can help to improve educational opportunities in this area. Highlighting the program will be Senator William B. Spong, who is chairman of the Virginia Commission on Public Education.
Officers will be elected at this meeting to serve as district leaders for the next three years.
