; Wheat growers in Rappahannock ami throughout the nation will decide today on wheat marketing quotas for the 1961 crop. Eligible voters are those who will share in a wheat crop next year of over l x acres. All eligible voters have been mailed a card from the ASC county office. If you are not sure of your eligibility, check with the ASC county office now. Voting place in Rappahannock Countv is RAPPAHANNOCK ASC COUNTY OFFICE. WASHINGTON. VIRGINIA.
This polling place is open all day front 8 until 6 o'clock. He one tin vote if vou are eligible.

Dr. Fessler Spoke On
Rural Development
Approximately thirty people were present to hear Dr. Donald Fessler, professor of rural sociology at V.P.I., Blacksburg. Va.. when he spoke to the Chester Gap Citizen's Association and other interested people fiom surrounding communities. Friday evening at Chester Gap.
Dr. Fessler. who had been recommended to the association by County Agent, W. H. Lyne, told of his experiences in helping about 100 rural communities in the southwestern part of Virginia to organize clubs in which everyone might have a part to help develope their community. He recommended dohave a part. He recommended doneeds, present and future, then setting up worthwhile goals and striving to accomplish them with the cooperation of everyone. .
After his address. Dr. Fessler answered questions asked by individuals present.
In addition to local citizens present were Mr. Nolan Hughes, the managing secretary of the Front Royal Chamber of Commerce, Mr. John Wine also of Front Royal and County Agent W. H. Lyne.
