The Ladies Auxiliary to Flint Hill Fife Company met Monday evening at the fire hall to make plans for the annual carnival to be held August 3, 4, 5, and 6. Twertty-five members were present.
Dr. and Mrs. R. S. Bowersett and daughters of Silver Spring, Md. wyre Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. James M. Settle. Mr. and. Mrs. Settle were in Charlottesville Tuesday where Mr. Settle had a check-up at , University of Virginia Hospital.
Mr. and Mrs. H. C. Pullen were Saturday evening guests of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Lillard at their home in Front Royal. Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Pullen of Front Royal spent the day with Mr. and Mrs. H. C. Pullen.
Mrs. John Keyser, Rev. and Mrs. Warren Wilbur, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Edmonds and Eddie Edmonds were dinner guests Sunday at Panorama.
Miss Addie Boyd was in Charlottesville Tuesday for the day. She was accompanied by Robert Riley who went to the clinic at University of Virginia Hospital.
