The thrill of'my life was Sunday. We were celebrating our 29th wedding anniversary and had as our guests mv uncle and aunt from Richmond. Arthur and I treated ourselves to a real gift—we called Formosa and talked to Evie. It was very exciting as well as-interesting. We at first had difficulty in getting a connection and the Carmans left for Richmond, thinking we would not be able to get them, since the operator had said the line was out between the states
