Plans Made For The
Annual Four-County
Fair At Carver
The Agricultural Advisory Council met at Carver High School on Tuesday night, July 12, and completed the preliminary plans for the Twelfth Annual Pour-County Fair. This event will take place on the grounds of the high school on October 7 and 8. Only minor changes were made in the fair catalog which will be available for distribution in midAugust. However, considerable interest was concentrated on certain recreational activities that could be conducted during the fair to enhance the comfort and pleasure of all age levels. The results will be announced after further study.
The president, Clifton Hill, Sr., appointed the working committees for the Annual Miss Four-County Fair Queen Contest. One contestant will be chosen from each county, and the contestant raising the largest sum of money will be crowned queen during the Big Talent Show on the night of September 30.
