The marriage of Betty Ixiuise Goss, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles F. Goss of Lucketts, Virginia, to Henry Waldo Zinn, son or Mr. and Mrs. Curtiss C. Zinn (.. Amissville, Virginia, was solemnized Sunday. July 31 at tour o'clock in the Furnace Mountain Presbyterian Church, with Reverend Marion Wells of Waterford, Virginia performing the double ring ceremony.
The church was decorated with palms and mixed white Rbwers.
Mrs. Mary Katherine Kelly sang “Because”, accompanied by Mrs. James McCann who also rendered the traditional marches.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a ballerina length gown of silk chiffon over taffeta. Her shoulder length veil was of tulle net. She carried a white prayer book covered with lace and topped with a white orchid and streamers.
Mrs. Catherine Hall, sister of the bride served as her Matron of Honor. She wore a blue nylon lace dress with matching accessories and her bouquet was of mixed daises.
William Jenkins acted as best man for Mr. Zinn. Amos Barnhouse and Charles Stocks were ushers.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents.
The couple are making their home in Warrenton. Vii" : 1.
