Judging Team First
The Rappahannock 4-H Livestock Judging Team won first place at Hillcrest Farms “Round Up Sale" at Delaplane Va. on Saturdav, October 29, 1%0. The judging contest was held before the 'sale with 4-H members competing.
Francis Lpdike, Ciien l. pdike and Harrison Powers were members of the first place team and winners (it the first place prize of $21.00.
Winners in the individual competition were Herbert Peverill, 3rd. Olen L pdike 5th and Mark Harris 8th. The prizes won in the individual competition were $10, $8 and $5, respectively.
Proceeds from one registered heifer were donated by Hillcrest Fa nils to be used as prizes. The contest was under the direction of Ard*n Huff, State 4-H Livestock Specialist.
