Mrs. Matilda Corbin
Mrs. iMatilda Ann Corbin of Sperryville, widow of Elder Warren
C. Cjorbin, died Friday, October 28 St the University of Virginia Hospital, following an illness of two weeks. She was 81.
Daughter of the late Bruce Corbin and Matilda Nicholson Corbin, she was a native of Madison County. She isj survived by two sons, M. Irvin Corbin of Culpeper and Enos J. Corbip of Tampa, Fla.; three daughter);, Mrs. Frances Reid of Sperryville, Mrs. Virgie Nicholson of Sykesvjille, Md., and Mrs. Flora .Ward of Winchester; twelve grandchildren and twenty-one great-grajndchildrcn.
Also surviving are four sisters, Mrs. Ackie Nicholson of Randallstown, M|d., Mrs. Lizzie Corbin of Baltimore, Md., Mrs. Jennie Corbin of Richmond and Mrs. Sadie Stucldeyjof Martinsburg, W. Va.
A funeral service was held Sunday, October 30 from the Geest Funeral Chapel. Elders John Bradley andjylaxie Butler of Luray and' Elder T. J. Hartley of Stephen City conducted the last rites. Interment followed in the Sperryville Cemetery-.
Grandsons Marshall Corbin, Murphy Reid. Irvin Corbin, Jr., Billy Corbin, Edward Corbin and Bobby Gorbin served as pallbearers.
