The group, sponsored by the Home Demonstration Clubs, left last Tuesday morning for New York City and returned Thursday night.
The trip carried a, full schedule which included seeing the play, “Wildcat”, tours of downtown, Greenwich Village, the Bowery, Chinatown, Statue of Liberty, the United Nations, Empire State Building.
Going on the trip were Mrs. Allen Stokes, Mrs. Wade Massie, Jr., Mrs. T. C. Lea, Mrs. Woodrow Coughlin, Mrs, Jewel Magarity, Mrs. D. D.
