Dr. and Mrs. J. W. Clark of Martinsville were Saturday visitors of Mrs. Matilda Walker at her home on Warren Avenue. Mrs. Walker has been back in her home now for several weeks after spending the winter months as a guest at the Lee Highway Hotel in Sperryville.
Mr. and Mrs. William M, Carrigan of Alexandria spent the week end at their residence. Avon Hall, on Warren Avenue.
Mrs. Judith Avery of Winchester was a weekend visitor of Mrs. Jay Brown at her liome on Mt. Salem Avenue.
Mr. and Mrs. C. S. Mullen of Richmond were luncheon guests Tuesday of Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Campbell at Twinland. Mr. Mullen is a retired Virginia Stkte 'Highway Engineer.
E. M. Jones was in Staunton on business Wednesday. He was accompanied as far as Harrisonburg by his mother, Mrs. J. Frank Jones.
Miss Becky Jones spent the weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. IE. M. Jones at Delamore and left on Sunday for Norfolk.
Mrs. Wallace Critzer went to Charlottesville Thursday for a check-up at University of Virginia Hospital. She was accompanied by Mrs. J. W. Critzer.
