Masonic Lodge No. 78, Washington, Va. held its Ladies Night dinner Friday, at the parish hall.
Guests were greeted by Mr. and Mrs. C. T. Bryce and Mrs. Irving Sisk presented each lady with incarnation corsage. i
The dinner was served by the churchwomen of Brotnfield parish.
Mr. Irving Sisk introduced the gueste and wives and the speaker, Mr. C. A. Sinclair Jr. of Manassas, who spoke on the origin and history of Masonry.
Swisa Chalet Purchased By Mr. d’Orleans
The Swiss Chalet on Route 211 above Sperryville has been purchased by Mr. Michel Pierre d’Orleans, ia bachelor, o? New and Washington, D. C. This is the third time this season that the operation of the motel and restaurant has changed hands.
Mr. d’Orleans was bom and educated in France and has a Ph. D. in Psychology from the Sorbonne in Paris. He is a fashion coordinator and designs in both New York and Washington, D. C. He is an Episcopalian and most active in St. Alban’s Church and in other civic activities in the District area.
Mr. d’Orleans hopes to develop a French restaurant noted for its culinary art in the near future.
