guests Saturday of Mr. and Mrs. William Smith in Culpeper. Tom Massie was a dinner guest Sunday of Walter B. Kilby at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Kilby in the F. T. Valley.
Mr. and Mrs. Milton Gore visited Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Estanick in Riverdale, Md. over the weekend. Milton Gore, Jr. returned with his parents after spending a week with his aunt, Mrs. Estanick and her family.
Mrs. Harry Lee Smith took her daughter, Miss Lee Smith, to Charlottesville Wednesday where she will take a reading course at the University of Virginia for the next several weeks.
Mr. and Mrs. John G. Cargill entertained fnends at a cook-out the night of the 4th. Among those present were Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Critzer, Mr. and Mrs. James F. Massie and Mr. and Mrs. J., Newbill Miller.
Anyone who left plates, pans or dishes at the carnivl grounds during the carnival may get them by stopping at the home of Mrs. B. R. Armel.
Miss Nancy Harrison of Front Royal, who has just returned from Sasebo, Japan, was a visitor Wednesday of Miss Annie Miller Almond. Miss Harrison taught at the Naval Station in Sasebo and while there visited Tokyo, Hong Kong, Hiroshima and Yokohama.
