OBITUARIES

Julius E. Cooper Dies

Julius Edward Cooper of Annandale, formerly of Viewtown, Ya., died Monday, July 3; in a Staunton Hospital. Son of the late Frank Allen Cooper and Florence Mason and a native of Fauquier ^County, he was 68.

He is survived by his wife, the former Miss Rebecca Lee Kane of Bealton; two sons, William Allen Cooper of Viewtown and Ivan C. Cooper of Trafalgar, Ind.; two daughters, Mrs. Harold M. Walker of Woodbridge and Mrs. Thomas J. Dennis of Alexandria; and six grandchildren. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, July 5 from the Geest Funeral Chapel, conducted by the Rev. John B. Hodge. Interment was in die Jeffersonton Baptist Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Charles- Bennett, Willie McChonchie, William Bennett, Dick Wingate, Warren Dennis, Roland Clements, I. M. Rosenberger and Joseph Button. /
