Mr. and Mrs. W. B. Bruce of Overhills, N. C. and Comdr. and Mrs. A. T. Pagter and two daughters of Washington, D. C. were Sunday afternoon guests of Mr. and Mrs. Charles T. Bruce.

Mrs. Dabney Carr entertained two tables of bridge at a luncheon last Wednesday. Those playing were Mrs. R. V. Snead, Mrs. Lou Emma Moffett, Mrs. W. F. Moffett, Jr., Mrs. D. D. Miller, Mrs. C. B. Palmer. Mrs. T. J. Pillar, Mrs. John George Cargill, and Mrs. Georg;e H. Davis, Jr.

Little Miss Carey Carr has returned home after spending last week with Dr. and Mrs. Carey Suter in Richmond. Miss Diana Carr spent last week at Girl Scout Camp.

Mrs. John George Cargill and family are spending several weeks with her mother, Mrs. T. C. Lea.
