Ihe JUllards will be hosts to Elizabeth Goodrich; the Durdens will have Lynn Donovan as their guest; the Rayner Sneads, Gale Andrews while the Ed Harrises will be host to Franklin Wenzel.
Some Q,f the objectives of this program are to provide an intensified training program with emphasis on personal development, citizenship, and leadership experience for the older age 4-H group; to provide an exchange of Extension Youth program ideas and experiences between club members, volunteer adult leaders, and agents of diffrent states and regions; a challenge for senior club members and recognition for outsfcnding work. 4-H members of Rappahannock host families will hold priority on the privilege of visiting Massachusetts next summer.
In all there will be forty club members staying in Northern Virginia for the week, July 15-21. They will have visited points of interest in our National Capital and Williamsburg prior to their arrival.
A picnic is planned for Tuesday night the 18th for these visitors and 4-H members in Rappahannock 15 years old and older, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Carson Lillard in Flint Hill.
Ort July 21, the group will reassemble at the Middleburg Community Center for swimming, soft ball, a picnic with all host families and their trip homeward.
Receives Degree
Dr. Lyle J. Milan, IV received his degree in Medicine at Queen’s College, St. Andrews University in Dundee, Scotland on June 30. ' He is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Lyle J. Milan, III of Beltimore, Flint Hill.
Due to illness the Milans were unable to attend the ceremony in Scotland.
