Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Eastham of Ben Venue announce the birth of a son born Wednesday morning, July 12 at Warren Memorial Hospital in Front Royal.

Mr. and Mrs. Ned Ellerbe announce the birth of a daughter, Linda Jane, born June 24 at La Chapelle Hospital in Orleans, France. Mrs. Ellerbe is the former Naomi Cave, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Cave of Reva.
Sneads Start New House
Judge and Mrs. R. V. Snead started excavating last week for their new house on Mt. Salem Avenue. The architect is Mr. R. T. Wadsworth. of Baltimore, jne Sneads are dcmrg their own opntracting and have let the contract for the stone and masonry work to Ed Bailey.
So far the footing has been poured and cinderblock started for the basement walls. The house is contemporary architecture with a French provincial feeling. It will be a two-story nine-room house constructed of stone with a full basement.
Mr and Mrs. J. W. Fletcher of Thornton Hill, Sperryville and Mr. Oliver Durant of The Hill, near Boston enjoyed water skiing and boating at Colonial Beach on Monday in the Fletcher’s new six passenger twin engine boat.
