With their first jtry at Shakespeare, the Culpeper] Players were fortunate to Have D. Grahame Henson, surgeon at Culpeper Hospital, to help them and direct their Shakespearean study.j Dr. Henson, a native of England,;has had valuable acting experience in his native land and also with ; the Virginia Players at University of Virginia.
Under Dr. Henson’s guidance an enthusiastic group has produced this “Hour of Shakespeare,” with the aid of additional friends who designed and made the 16th Century Venetian costumes. The amateur actors appearing include a doctor, a dentist, twoilawyers, two printers, a minister, aj nurse,, manager of a hospital, manager of a funeral home and six high school students.
