He has been presented a certificate from the United States Postmaster General, J. Edward Day and Regional Director, Malcolm R. Clarke stating, “Honorary Recognition is accorded Lester L. Yates for devotion to duty in the course of an honorable career in the United States Postal Service. This citation tendered upon the occasion of retirement from active duty, conveys official commendation from the Postmaster General and a cordial expression of esteem from coworkers in the Service.’’
