He approached his prooiems ana the problems of those who consulted him with a quality of reasoning and judgement too often lacking in human relations. Most import ant of all, he could spot and illuminate the humorous aspect in situations, a recognition of the hard truth that so many of our problems have no ready solution! simply be accepted and lived with. A true Southern gentleman, a kind and helpful friend, a patriot,^ a faithful and devoted churchman, we shall sorely miss Bill Williamson.

Mrs. Bessie Sealock and family were visitors last Wednesday of Mrs. Noah Wines. Sgt. Billy Smith who has been visiting with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Smith, left Thursday to re-enter the U. S. Army.
Mr. and Mrs. Billy Daniels of Charlottesville spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Andrew L. Williams here and Mr. and Mrs. Daniels at Riverton.
Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Priest and family, Mr. and Mrs. Winifred Pries tand son, Mrs. Charles Henry and children, Billy Spence, Mrs. Kathleen Spence and Mr. and Mrs. Scitty Lockhart spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Marvin'Priest near Winchester.
