Continued from page one chairs to enjoy their favorite country, western, hillbilly and bluegrass music. $1500 in prize money will be given in live divisions;—Band, Banjo, Fiddle, Vocal and Miscellaneous. Winners receive $225, with $75 going to second place. In addition, winners will appear on Radio and TV. Many country music personalities and t a le n t scouts will be there.
Added entertainment Saturday night will be the New Dominion Barn Dance troop of 40, while on Sunday evening Don Reno and Red Smiley will appear with the Tennessee Cut-Ups for 2 big shows. The Master of Ceremonies will be Carlton 'Haney
The contest starts at 7 K)0 p.m. Saturday and resumes at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, Daylight Time.
The Country Music Contest is sponsored each year by the Jaycees of Warrenton to finance civic improvement and community good will projects throughout the year.
