In reply to my inquiry as to the effect the doubling of the Woodstock Aileen plant mould have on the proposed Rappahannock plant, Mrs. Perle Coffey, SperryvtUe, a member of the county committe on industry, sent me this letter she had received. —Ed
Regarding your correspondence of July 20, 1961, please be informed that Rappahannock County has not been forgotten nor set aside as regards a site for an Aileen plant.
We have found that our cutting and shipping facilities here at Woodstock are not large enough to supply our existing plants, therefore, Woodstock must be enlarged before another sewing operation is considered. *
