Opens Flint Hill
Firemens Carnival
A large crowd was present last night at the Flint Hill Firemens annual carnival which opened with a brilliant display of fire works. The cool weather and-afternoon rain did not dampen the spirit of the many who gathered for the first night of the four-night event.
Tonight, the United Staes Army Air Force Band will lead the mamouth parade scheduled to start at 6:30 p.m. EST. Over 100. entries are listed. . Following the parade the Ladies Auxiliary will be standing by to serve the plate suppers which'will be on sale at the fire house.
The crowning of the Queen of festivities will take place Friday evening and Saturday will be climaxed by the awarding of prizes.
