Attend Reunion In
Charleston
Mrs. W. C. Hall of Rose Hill and Mrs. Virginia Kuhn of Alexandria spent from Thursday until Sunday in Charleston, W. Va. and on Saturday attended the reunion of Mrs. Kuhn’s high school graduating class of 1936 which was held at the Daniel Boone Hotel. Of the 500 graduates, there were 230 of them present, coming from as far as California, Florida and Connecticut. accompanied by their husbands, waves or parents. Some of the teachers were also present. A buffet dinner was served to more than 400 attending.
Mrs. Hall reports that enroute to Charleston she observed the heavy damage done by the recent early snow storm in that section. Trees were broken and electric and phone wires were still down in places and patches of snow still remained on the ground.
