Committee Makes
Plans For Mental
Health Chapter
A committee, representing the counties of Culpeper, Fauquier and Rappahannock, met Monday afternoon. October 30 at the home of Mrs. S. D. Hutton in Amiss ville to discuss and formulate plans for a future meeting to launch a local Mental Health Chapter for the area. *
Heading the committee is Rev. John S. Farrar, pastor of Culpeper Baptist Church. Others members include Mrs. Lewis F. Smith, the Supervisor of Fauquier Elementary Schools, who lives in Culpeper, Mr. John R. Woodward of Marshall.
Mr. Louckes Attends
Ski Patrol Course
Mr. Frank Louckes, manager of the Skyline Ski Club at Washington, Va., who also a member of the. National Ski Patrol, attended a refresher course in first aid and patrol duty Saturday and Sunday, i which was held in Washington, D. C. Each member of the patrol is required to take this course annually. About twenty-five patrolmen participated in the course.
