Miss Becky Jones of Washington, Va. appeared on Inga’s Angle television program Tuesday morning, October 31. Miss Jones, a 'Home Economist with the Selfrising Flour and .Cornmeal program, gave a demonstration, making corn mirffips-with a tuna topping.
Miss Jones territory includes Virginia, Washington, D. C., West Virginia, North Carolina, and Kentucky.

High school seniors and graduates have only until November 17 to apply for Navy Reserve Officer Training Coprs. Applicants will take ttic nation vide competitive examination on December 9 as the first step toward an appointment as midshipman.
Designed to suuplement the officer output of the Naval Academy, the NROTC program makes it possible for a young man to earn a regular commission while studying at a civilian college of his choice which has an NROTC unit. All tuition, fees and books are ftirnished by the Navy, and the student receives an annual retain-1 er of $600 for not more than four ; years. During the summers the stu- j dent goes on interesting training cruises to man’ oorts of the world.
