In Front Royal
Tuesday, November 7th will be moving day for Sears, Roebuck and Co. employees.
Mrs. B. Miller, manager of the store in Front Royal, Va., said crews will begin transferring display merchandise and office equipment from the store at -304 E. Main St. to the new locattion at 223 North Royal Avenue as soon as the catalog sales store closes at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 7.
Schedules call for the move to be completed by Wednesday, November 8th. Sears store planners; will work with the moving crews, building displays as merchandise is shifted to the new location.
Orders tyill be accepted at the Main Street store until 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 7th. The store switchboard under the present Sears number, ME 5-2115, will be maintained throughout ’ the moving period, so that service difficulties can be avoided.
The new store will open with an “open house” on Thursday, Nov. 9th.
Methodist Churches '
To Have Rallies
On Sunday afternoon, November 5th the Sperryville Methodist Church will have a Christian Higher Education Rally at 2 p.m.
Washington Methodist Church will have a rally at 3 p.m. A group from Randolph-Macon Academy will be present. A quartet will sing and and a staff member will speak.
The Willis Chapel Methodislt Church will hold a Christian Higher Education Rally at 2 p.m. on Sunday, November 12th. Flint Hill Methodist Church will have a rally the same afternoon at 3 p.m.
