Eyesight Conservation Chairman Lion Luther Stuart reported that as yet there were no bills for school children’s examinations and glasses outstanding, but these are expected in the near future. The examinations in the public schools have now just been completed. It may be noted that this project by the local club has been cited on several occasions as being one of the most worthy in the district. This is particularly true because of the small membership of the local club.
Local fund raising will begin shortly with the sale of the delicious fruit cakes so those people interested in good eating should see a local Lion and place their order early.
A very cordial invitation to the Culpeper Ladies Night was extended the Rappahannock Lions and all who can are urged to attend for the wonderful fellowship with neighboring Lions and their wives.
