Injured In Fall

From Pony

Jimmy Latham, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Richard Latham of Horner Hill Farm, Amissville, sustained severe head injuries Saturday when he was thrown from a pony at E. G. Hackley’s. The pony bolted up the hill and tossed his nider into a board fence. Jimmy received emergency treatment at Fauquier Hospital, Warrenton. He had several stitches taken in his forehead and chin.

Mr. and Mrs. M. A. Greeley left Wednesday for The Chalet in Little Switzerland, N. C. to visit Mr. and Mrs. William A. Cessna. En route home they will attend the Postmasters Convention in Roanoke, Va.

Grady Williams of Front Royal, Mrs. Elizabeth Marcus, William Underwood of Fairfax spent the weekend with Andrew L. Williams. Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Ankers and family of Arlington were visitors Memorial Day of Mr. Williams.

Mrs. Bertha Williams and Mrs. Margaret Williams were Monday visitors in Winchester.

Mr. and Mrs. Haywood Williams and daughter Rhonda have returned to their home after spending six months with Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Mahoney due to the illness of Mrs. Mahonev.
